Movie Plot
When he loses a highly publicized virtual boxing match to ex-champ Rocky Balboa, reigning heavyweight titleholder Mason Dixon retaliates by challenging the Itallian Stallion to a nationally televised, 10-round exhibition bout. To the surprise of his son and friends, Rocky agrees to come out of retirement and face an opponent who's faster, stronger and thirty years his junior. With the odds stacked firmly against him, Rocky takes on Dixon in what will become the greatest fight in boxing history, a hard-hitting, action-packed battle of the ages.

Budget And Filming Time
Filming began on December 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It then of which traveled over to Los Angeles, California then to Philadelphia during 2006. All the filming was done in a tight schedule of 38 days with a budget of $24 million. The full length trailer for the Rocky Balboa was accompanied with the release of Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest in 2005.

Music And Sounds
Academy award winner Bill Conti got the Rocky Balboa music score. He did an updated version of the original 1976 Rocky. Bill Conti has done the music for all the Rocky films except Rocky 5. Sylvester Stallone attended 7 of the recording sessions. You can download the track here

The Video Game Adaption
Following the release of the movie on March 20, 2007 a game adaption of the movie was released. The game was only available on PSP™ (Play station Portable). It features all the fights that Rocky does in the movies giving you a chance to play as either characters, You can also chose different characters to be from each of the 6 films an do multiplayer exhibition fights.

Notes
  • The alternative ending on the DVD shows Rocky winning the fight.
  • Deleted scenes show that Paulie originally had a girl friend who was to be Rocky roommate.
  • The only Rocky film with the 'Gunno Fly Now' song in the ending credits.
  • The end credits of Rocky standing alone was filmed without Stallone even knowing.
  • Stallone's real son Sage Stallone turned down the roll of Rocky's son due to his own company.
  • Mr. T was meant to be a ringside commentator but he was replaced by Mike Tyson.
  • Early drafts of the film had Adrian still alive and running a youth centre.
  • All the filiming was done in a tight schedule of 38 days on a budget of $24 million.
  • Stallone originally wanted Roy Jones Jr as the roll for Mason Dixon.
